Esther Rantzen became a household name as the presenter of the TV programme 'That's Life' between 1973 and 1994. It led her to set up the charity 'ChildLine'. The veteran broadcaster/campaigner is now launching the Silver Line, aimed at providing comfort and practical assistance to Britain's seniors. A pilot programme has been operating in the north of England and the Isle of Man, and the aim is to launch the service nationwide at the end of 2013. VoR's Tim Ecott asked Esther why she felt there was a need for the Silver Line.
