I recently added some beneficial nematodes to my soil in order to combat the plague of fungus gnats. My primary concern was for the root system of my chilli plants and avoiding stunted/inhibited growth where possible. The morning after I noticed these small white mite looking things jumping at the side of the pot. Are the nematodes doing their job? Do these things eat the nematodes? Are they springtails or mites?
